Helping clients worldwide navigate their investment choices requires our crew of over 14,000 to bring perspectives and skills as diverse as our customers’ needs and desires. Maintaining this kind of environment involves the commitment of leaders at all levels of the organization. Vanguard’s Culture & Inclusion team leads our corporate culture and sets the strategy for various inclusion initiatives.
Crew Resource Groups (CRGs) at Vanguard support our culture of inclusion. They allow crew members with common perspectives to come together and focus on trust, respect, and fairness. These groups help crew members across the organization form meaningful relationships through service, teamwork, and education.
Through CRGs, crew members can engage in thought-provoking learning experiences and connect to a robust professional network. Each initiative promotes an inclusive environment and offers crew a variety of ways to develop personally and professionally.
Our CRGs include:
The Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership Advancement (HOLA) – works to attract and retain Hispanic and Latino crew members and leadership.
Leadership and Engagement for Asian Professionals (LEAP) – helps enhance awareness of Asian culture, and offers a support system for Asian talent and existing crew.
Out Professionals Engagement Network (OPEN) – works to create and promote a safe, inclusive environment, in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) crew members can thrive in their Vanguard careers.
The Vanguard Black Professionals Network (VBPN) – ensures black crew members are fully engaged members of the workforce and increases black crew representation among Vanguard’s leaders.
Women’s Initiative for Leadership Success (WILS) – works to increase the representation of women in leadership positions company-wide by creating a culture that develops, supports, and encourages women’s leadership abilities.
